You can request deletion of your AI Accident & Injury Legal Help account and all associated data at any time. This page explains exactly how to do that, what data is deleted, and what (if anything) is retained.
Option 1: Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open the AI Accident & Injury Legal Help app on your device.
- Sign in with your account.
- Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the chat screen (or open the side menu and tap Profile).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion in the pop-up dialog. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app (for example, you uninstalled it), email us from the email address associated with your account:
Subject: Delete my account
Body (include):
- The email address associated with your account.
- Your full name (as used on the account, if available).
- A statement confirming you wish to permanently delete your account and data.
We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile picture, state, preferred language).
- All chat conversations with the AI assistant.
- All uploaded media (photos, audio recordings, documents).
- All incident tickets and legal form submissions.
- Authentication credentials and login tokens.
- Device identifiers linked to your account.
What data may be retained
For legal, regulatory, security, and fraud-prevention reasons, we may retain limited information after account deletion:
- Transaction records and support correspondence — retained up to 7 years where required by law (e.g., tax, audit, dispute resolution).
- Security and fraud-prevention logs — retained up to 12 months to protect the platform and its users.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics — retained indefinitely. This data cannot be used to identify you.
- Legal hold information — where we are legally required to preserve information (e.g., active litigation or subpoena), that data is retained until the obligation lapses.
Any retained information is stored securely with access restricted to authorized personnel and is used only for the purposes listed above.
How long does deletion take?
- In-app deletion — immediate. Your account is removed from our active systems as soon as you confirm.
- Email request — completed within 30 days of verified receipt.
- Backup purge — any backup copies are overwritten or deleted within 90 days of active deletion.
